The La Fayette Fire Dept. Inc.  has been actively serving the Town of La Fayette, NY since 1945.  The La Fayette Fire Dept. Inc. has an annual budget of approximately $390,000 for protecting a population of more than 4,800 people who are spread over an area of approximately 39 +/- square miles.  We provide fire/rescue sevices out of 2 stations and use 100% volunteer staffing.  We also provide Advance Life Support Ambulance services using part time paid medics with 1 on duty at our station #1 nearly 24 hours a day.  We provide 24 hour a day 7 day a week coverage to our community with:
